NEET Counselling, The long wait of lakhs of students across India for confirming their MBBS and BDS seats ended yesterday, i.e., July 3rd 2019.

There was confusion initially after the MCC withheld the released merit list of the first round on Tuesday afternoon. The official notification of MCC says it is due to the Writ Petitions W.P.Nos: 35853 of 2016 and 17948 of 2017 filed by Rithika against MCI and others about wards of the insured persons of ESIC.

Many students on confirmation of the first round withdrew their applications from other medical institutions like AIIMS. They were all shocked at the announcement of MCC in the afternoon of withholding the result and had to wait till yesterday morning when the final results of first-round were released.

The constant confusion in all the exam result announcements this year:
The rank list of engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu was postponed last month. The IIT results were under difficulty until June 15th.

Now the NEET Counselling has made the students nervous on Tuesday and was cleared only yesterday morning.

Today, i.e., July 4th 2019 is the last day for AIIMS selection, imagine the plight of students in rural areas in India of the delay in NEET results.

How to download NEET allotment letter 2019?

The NEET aspiring students can download the allotment letter from the MCC.nic.in website. Successful candidates can verify the document now till the extended time of 5 PM till July 8th.
It was previously to end by Saturday, i.e., July 6th 2019 5 PM.
Four steps to download NEET allotment letter:

  1. Enter the website mcc.nic.in
  2. Click the NEET allotment letter one on the left side
  3. A new page with login will appear to enter the credentials
  4. View the allotment letter to download it

What are the documents needed for the DV or the document verification?

Once the successful candidates have downloaded the allotment letter, they have to verify it with the MCC authorities by July 8th 5 PM.
The following is the list of documents for DV:

  • Allotment letter
  • NEET mark sheet
  • 12th class mark sheet
  • 10th class mark sheet
  • Proof of residence
  • Passport size photographs
  • Proof of date of birth
  • Receipt of fee payment
  • Documents in support of reservation category
